Changpeng Zhao was born in September 1977 in Jiangsu, China. He is a Chinese-Canadian businessman and is famously known as the founder and CEO of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange going by volume. CZ’s real career began after graduating from McGill University where he joined the Tokyo Stock Exchange as an intern where he built software for executing matching trade orders then quickly moved on to Bloomberg and joined as the head of Tradebook futures development.
